Goodmorning Shinhan Securities has recently added a separate marketing and operation department for trading of US securities. They are also in the process of adding night trading/support desk. We believe this will increase their existing trading volume significantly.

Recently, the Korean government announced tax incentives for overseas equity investments in order to relieve their real estate market. Since this announcement was made, MidasTrade has been in negotiations with several new Korean brokerage firms to offer trading of US securities via Midas GDAN and its trading platform.

KEB Futures has gone live as previously announced and has increased in volume as they become more familiarized with MidasTrade's system. Additionally, MidasTrade is negotiating with other Korean futures companies to utilize Midas GDAN for execution and futures data subscriptions.

Shadow Trader (Pure Reason LLC) is in the process of accepting account applications from its traders for trading of the KOSPI. They are expecting to have active traders begin trading shortly. Soon after, they are expecting to have all of their traders trading KOSPI via Midas GDAN.

MidasTrade has been negotiating with several system/algorithm trading firms to offer hosting of its systems for trading of KOSPI at Midas Korea Data Center. MidasTrade is at the final stage of development of their trading system to interface with Midas Direct Access Server (KOSPI). Midas Direct Access Server provides direct access to KOSPI without any latency while meeting Korea FSS (Korea version of SEC) compliance requirements.
