WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2015) - Midaxo, the leader in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) software, announced today that it has launched its award-winning M&A solution in the U.S. and established a North American subsidiary to address the growing need to systematize the M&A process. Also, in a separate news release issued today, the company announced that it has received a 1.5 million euro investment from Seed Fund Vera, Hiidenkivi Investment and angel investors.

Midaxo's cloud-based platform is the only easy-to-use and highly-configurable solution for managing the entire M&A transaction lifecycle. "The value of M&A transactions was $4.7 trillion[i] last year. Research shows that 70 percent of deals fail to achieve their objectives, often due to problems with the underlying process and supporting tools," said Ari Salonen, president of Midaxo, Inc., the new North American subsidiary. With our new U.S. operations, we can better support Midaxo's growing list of U.S.-based customers and bring the benefits of our award-winning solution to a broader audience in North America."

"We have a very detailed, multi-stage M&A process, so we need a tool to fit our specific operations. Using Midaxo as the single platform to manage and support our M&A transactions, we've been pleased to see how flexible the solution is and how easily we were able to configure it to meet our needs," said Sergio Letelier, vice president and associate general counsel, M&A, Corporate Transactions and International Governance, HP.

The Midaxo M&A platform enables M&A professionals to easily standardize and manage the entire M&A process from deal sourcing though evaluation, transaction and integration. The platform includes all tools M&A professionals need to seamlessly manage their complex activities, including process, project, and issue management; document management; team coordination; collaboration; auditing; and reporting.
