Midwest, Northeast Show Largest Year-Over-Year Spending Growth, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwired - Sep 8, 2015) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- According to Industrial Info's Project Spending Index, at the end of July the value of projects planned to kick off in the U.S. in 2015 was 4% higher than at the same time in 2014. Not all regions have fared equally well. Planned spending in the West Coast market region is down more than 20% from last year, while spending in the Rocky Mountains region and U.S. Southeast are both down more than 10%.

However, other areas are contributing to the overall spending growth in the nation, and the largest spending increases (on a percentage basis) have been seen in the Midwest (up 40.9%) and the Northeast (up 42.8%).
