Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) Enters Into Licensing Agreement for Move, Inc.'s FIND

LISLE, IL--(Marketwire - Jul 5, 2011) - Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED) ( announced today their 37,000 member brokers, agents and appraisers will soon have access to the FIND real estate platform for industry professionals developed by Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE), the leader in online real estate.

FIND is a specialized application for real estate professionals allowing MLSs to provide their members with fast, flexible and easy access to all of the data from the Move Network of real estate web sites via a powerful, robust and intuitive search engine. The FIND platform features a powerful natural language processor, giving real estate professionals the ability to search with simple typed requests like "three bedroom homes for sale in Naperville with a pool between 600k and 800k" or "condo in Chicago with deck." MRED's customers will have password protected access to data and functionality not available to consumers on Move's consumer-facing web sites.

"MRED is very pleased to be able to provide our customers with a cutting edge application that enables them to access the very best information about the properties and communities relevant to their businesses," said MRED's Chief Executive Officer, Russ Bergeron. "There is so much information available to the consumer on Move's web sites, and it only makes sense to provide an enhanced version of that same data to our brokers, agents and appraisers to maximize their ability to succeed in today's real estate environment."

"We never want agents or brokers to be without information or data that their clients might have when working together to find a home," said Errol Samuelson, chief revenue officer of Move, Inc., the leader in online real estate and developer of the FIND real estate platform. "So we developed FIND to remove the hassles often associated with compiling data for clients, leaving more time to demonstrate local expertise and market knowledge that leads to more successful relationships. We're very pleased MRED will be offering their members the FIND advantage. We look forward to working with MRED leadership and their members in the coming months on introducing this market-leading technology to Northern Illinois area real estate professionals."

The intuitive search engine and data structures in FIND automatically link separate data elements (like school district boundaries and listing data), differing nomenclature (such as deck, patio, porch, veranda, balcony, lanai) and different spellings (in-ground, in ground, inground) to help the real estate professional "find" the data they need quickly and easily. With FIND, MRED's members will never have less information about a property or area than the consumer audience.

  • "HAR members are excited to have access to the new FIND search system. We have received positive feedback from members regarding how intuitive the user interface is and how much they like the natural language search features. Members have enjoyed the ability to search for properties across the country and have commented on how fast the system performs," said Shawn Dauphine, Director of MLS, Houston Association of Realtors, Inc.

  • "FIND's easy access to nationwide public and private property data has given our members an effective tool to answer questions and find homes for clients outside our service area," said Greg Manship, CEO, Intermountain MLS.

  • "Member feedback regarding FIND has been positive. The intuitive nature of the search and the ability to retrieve comprehensive results without repeated changing of search terms make it a very useful tool," added Wes Wiggins, vice president, MLS, Tucson Association of Realtors MLS.

FIND was developed specifically to give industry professionals fast, flexible and easy to use access to listing information.
