MTP Prods Jumps Onto Concert/Events Scene With an Impressive Debut

FORT WAYNE, IN--(Marketwire - August 28, 2009) - (PINKSHEETS: MIKP) -- Mike The Pike Productions, Inc.'s first event, BACK TO SCHOOL SUMMER SEND-OFF 2009, featuring Cobra Starship, Metro Station, et. al has paved the road for a great year ahead for MTP's Concert/Events division as they prepare for their second show.

MTP executives are thrilled with the show, even a day before the bands hit the stage, "... because of what this show means to Mike The Pike Productions and its shareholders as a whole. So far, we're at over 3000 tickets for this show and we're expecting a very nice walkup," states Mark B. Newbauer, Mike The Pike Productions CEO. "The buzz in town couldn't be greater. We've got ads running with four top-tier radio stations regionally, on-air giveaways, live remotes, grass roots Flyer campaigns and an impressive street team all over high schools, universities and Facebook with the show."

Newbauer continues, "The great news about this show is that it's already been a huge success for us even a day before it takes place. This is key. We've gotten several calls from Agents and Managers recommending top acts at a fraction of what we would normally get them for and this is exactly why we planned a large show as our first show. A big splash is crucial; as an example, because we've proven ourselves as a company to the industry as capable players, we could now do this exact same show for a fraction of the price on talent. That's significant profit increase potential right out of the gate on our next show by doing exactly what we're doing now. We've also made a statement as legitimate, capable contenders in the industry in the midst of national mega-corps such as Live Nation."

In addition to ticket sales on this first event, the company is entitled to a take on concessions, beverage, merchandising and sponsorships from U.S. Army, Anytime Fitness and Hardee's to name a few. "A successful show from top to bottom tomorrow will enable us to snag multiple sponsorships from major companies on our second show which is in its planning stages now. We've made offers on top-name talent with a two week deadline and have made the decision to launch one more concert or concert tour prior to our MMA show. We're very excited about tomorrow night and looking forward to launching into our next big show. The company is already profitable for the year and we're looking to grow a bit with each thing we do in both the Motion Pictures and Concerts/Events arenas. As well, we received word from Management that the much-anticipated Literary Option Agreement has been signed and sent our way and we expect it to arrive next week. This same author's work has recently been picked up by a major cable network for a series in development and we'll be looking at several opportunities in terms of our newly acquired asset."
