Milident Inc: A Growing Advanced Technology Firm

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 23, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Milident Inc. has been granted funding to initiate activities to improve its performance.

The assistance has been awarded in the form of a $198,250 repayable financial contribution through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.

• Milident is an innovative company that manufactures orthodontic prostheses and appliances. In 2013, it devoted 8% of its sales to innovation.
• Milident Inc. is one of the 10 most important dental laboratories in Canada. The present project will contribute to the development of a process for making new implantology components to be marketed to dental laboratories.
