Military Vehicles Travelling from Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN 2013


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 23, 2013) - The public is advised to expect a high volume of Canadian Armed Forces vehicles on Ontario roads on August 25-26, travelling from 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford, Ontario, to their home units and armouries following Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN 2013.

Drivers are advised to be patient and cautious as the convoys will comprise civilian pattern and military pattern trucks, chartered buses, and transport trucks.

Canadian Armed Forces personnel from across Ontario conducted military training in the vicinity of Meaford, Ontario, from August 17 to 25, 2013, as part of Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN 2013. Exercises such as STALWART GUARDIAN 2013 are an important way to hone critical skills and be prepared to assist Canadians when and where military help is needed.
