Millwood Presented With Industry Award From CHEP at Second Annual Supply Chain Symposium

Ohio Firm Honored for Service Center Operational Performance at Two-Day Event

VIENNA, OH--(Marketwire - November 10, 2010) -  Millwood, Inc., a Vienna, Ohio-based industry leader and innovator of unit load and packaging materials and services, was recognized for SERVICE CENTER OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE by CHEP at the 2010 Supply Chain Symposium at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando.

Millwood was awarded for demonstrating excellence in service center operations, through consistent execution of productivity, quality and safety at an awards ceremony on October 21, during a two-day conference sponsored by CHEP. Also nominated for the award were Amware Pallet Services, LLC, Blue Chip and American Paltech.

The awards ceremony was the highlight of the two-day event, which is designed to build relations with CHEP's transportation partners and conduct educational seminars that will improve shipper performance. This year, CHEP also included its service center operators. "Our Annual Supply Chain Symposium is a touch point with our partners where we provide updates on our business and industry," said Kim Rumph, vice president, plant operations, for CHEP USA. "We also use this time to have open dialogue about our current and future needs specifically to continue to take waste out of the value chain and increase our value to our shared customers."

In addition to the award for service center operations, CHEP presented nine other performance awards to fleet providers, carriers and service center operators.
