PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 18, 2012) - Milyoni, the leader in social entertainment, and FANetwork, the premier live event broadcast network and distributor of music and film on social media, today announced a partnership to launch two global concert series on Facebook: Global Sounds and Will Power. The broadcasts will provide musicians with a way to engage and reward loyal fans, while attracting a whole new fan base from across the globe.

Will Power, a series celebrating women empowerment and focusing on artists that personify strength, compassion and social awareness, will kick off on Earth Day, April 22 featuring GRAMMY-winning English singer Imogen Heap. Imogen, who has more than 700,000 Facebook fans and more than 1.6 million Twitter followers, will debut a new single performed live from her garden in London with her signature Musical Gloves. "As digital and social forces change the landscape of entertainment, Milyoni's Social Live provides artists with the ability to monetize their creative content by engaging fans from around the world in a unique, high-quality video experience," said John Corpus, founder and CEO, Milyoni. "We're excited to partner with FANetwork to help artists and entertainers engage and reward their fan base with socially interactive concerts and exclusive content."

The FANetwork Digital Media Alliance combined FANetwork's USA and UK music executives and media investment bankers with award-winning, innovative digital producers to create customized events and program fan experience using Milyoni's Social Live and Social Cinema. This brings a shared, social experience to Facebook's over 850 million users, allowing fans to comment, chat and share the live concert with friends and family across the world. The concerts will feature exclusive content, contests and additional interaction with fellow fans and the musicians themselves. Using the social platform, fans can share content and the high quality video viewing experience with each other, extending the artists' music reach.

"With the launch of these two unique series, every fan is immediately granted all-access to their favorite artists," said Charlie Stuart Gay, president of FANetwork. "We are all fans and our goal is to enable others to connect with fellow music enthusiasts. We are excited to have such extraordinary performers to kick-off the series -- providing their millions of fans worldwide a chance to interact and share the live music on Facebook."

While fans across the globe can access each of the live concert series for free for 24 hours, they are encouraged to make a pledge of at least $5, which allows viewing for an extended period, access to additional content and conversations between artists and fans. A portion of the pledges will be donated by artists to their chosen causes. Additional artists for both series will be announced in the coming months.
