Mindjet Appoints David Oppenheimer Chief Financial Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 11, 2007) - Mindjet Corporation, the global leader of software for visualizing and using information, today named David Oppenheimer to the position of Chief Financial Officer. A proven executive for over 15 years, Mr. Oppenheimer has held instrumental roles at large multi-billion dollar companies such as AlliedSignal (currently known as Honeywell), United Airlines, and Chevron, and high growth technology companies including Autodesk, Digital Impact, and Hands-On Mobile.

David earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, and went to work for Chevron as a project engineer. After earning an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley, David joined United Airlines, where he rose to the position of Division Controller for United's global engineering and maintenance operations. After 10 years at United Airlines, he was recruited by AlliedSignal (currently known as Honeywell) where he was the CFO of the Aerospace Services business unit, followed by a stint as the CFO of the Electronic Material business. David then joined the world of software and was recruited by Autodesk in San Rafael as Vice President, Finance where he was responsible for Corporate Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Business Unit Finance. As the internet started to take off, David was appointed as the CFO of Digital Impact, an internet marketing company, to guide the company through its IPO and a valuation that reached $1.2 billion at its peak. In 2005, David managed Digital Impact's acquisition by Acxiom at a significant price premium. Most recently, David was the CFO of Hands-On Mobile, a mobile content company.
