Minera IRL Limited Reports Change of Directors

LIMA, PERU--(Marketwired - Sept. 12, 2016) - Minera IRL Limited ("Minera IRL" or the "Company") (BVLAC:MIRL) announces that George M Bee, who in June 2016 joined the Company board, has regretfully tendered his resignation with immediate effect. Mr. Bee will be assuming a senior full-time role which will make his continued participation on the board untenable.

The Company also announces that Robert W. Schafer, has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors of the Company as an Independent Director. Mr Schafer is a seasoned industry professional and is currently President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and Chief Executive and Founder of Eagle Mines Management. During his career, Mr. Schafer has also held senior roles with Hunter Dickinson, Kinross Gold and BHP-Billiton.
