Minister Clement Promotes Renewal and Workplace Wellness with Public Service Executives


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 27, 2015) - Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat

Today, the Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board of Canada, addressed delegates at the annual symposium for the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada.

This year's theme, From Ideas to Action: Leading Continuous Renewal, encourages participants to translate ideas, their own and others', into concrete action.

Minister Clement highlighted the progress achieved and encouraged participants to continue to lead, inspire, motivate and embrace renewal and change in today's fast-paced world.

The Minister also took the opportunity to reiterate the Government's commitment to implement a new disability and sick leave system for the Public Service. He noted the recent establishment of a task force to improve mental health and safety in federal workplaces.
