Minister Oliver Concludes Successful Mission to Promote Energy Cooperation with South Korea and China

BEIJING, CHINA--(Marketwired - Oct. 18, 2013) - The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, today concluded his economic mission to China, where he reinforced Canada's role as a secure, responsible energy supplier and its commitment to energy market diversification.

Minister Oliver's successful visit supports the government's priority of strengthening relationships to increase opportunities for Canada's natural resource sectors. "Our Government is working hard internationally and at home to reach new markets for our natural resources," said Minister Oliver. "Canada is competing to meet our strategic imperative of diversifying our energy markets and strengthening our position as a global competitive exporter."
