Minister Paradis to Promote World-Class Canadian Aerospace Sector at Farnborough International Airshow 2012


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 6, 2012) - The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Industry, will be in Farnborough, England, from July 8 to 10, heading the Canadian delegation at Farnborough International Airshow 2012. Attended by companies from around the world, this biennial airshow is the global aerospace and aviation industry's flagship event.

The Minister will kick off his visit to the airshow by officially opening the Canadian Pavilion on Monday, July 9, welcoming domestic industry leaders and highlighting federal support for aerospace. He will also take the opportunity to meet with key aerospace stakeholders and promote the strength and innovative capabilities of the Canadian aerospace sector.

Farnborough International Airshow 2012 will take place from July 9 to 15, 2012.
