Minister Raitt Congratulates Seaspan Marine Corporation and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild on Ratification of New Agreement

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 15, 2011) - Today, the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Canada's Labour Minister, congratulated Seaspan Marine Corporation and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild on successfully ratifying a new collective agreement. Negotiated agreements are in the best interest of the organization, its employees, businesses and the Canadian economy.

Seaspan Marine Corporation is a marine transportation company that operates along the North American West Coast and provides ship docking and tug and towing services to Port Metro Vancouver. The Canadian Merchant Service Guild represents a unit of approximately 230 sailing masters, mates and engineers.
