Minister Raitt Discusses Labour Relations at Association of Canadian Port Authorities Conference

HAMILTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2012) - The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Canada's Labour Minister, met today with port authority representatives at the 54thannual conference of the Association of Canadian Port Authorities to discuss changing Canadian labour relationships and practices.

The 2012 conference focused on the domestic and global changes that affect the port industry and explored solutions to address those challenges. The conference was hosted by the Association of Canadian Port Authorities, the pre-eminent association for the advocacy and advancement of Canadian ports that brings together groups representing ports, harbours and related marine interests.
