Minsud Appoints New Director and Grants Stock Options

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 27, 2011) - Minsud Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MSR) ("Minsud" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, Howard Coates has been appointed as an independent member of the board of directors of the Company. Mr. Coates is an economic geologist with 41 years of diversified experience and possesses a wide range of technical and managerial skills related to mining exploration and development. The board of directors of Minsud is now comprised of Carlos A. Massa, Alberto F. Orcoyen, Diego E. Perazzo, Scott F. White and Howard Coates.

The Company also announces that it has granted an aggregate of 225,000 incentive stock options to Mr. Coates under the Company's stock option plan. The options are exercisable at $0.40 per share, all of which options shall vest one‐quarter (1/4) on October 26, 2011, one‐quarter (1/4) on April 26, 2012, one‐quarter (1/4) on October 26, 2012 and one‐quarter (1/4) on April 26, 2013, and shall be exercisable for a term of five years.
