Mionetto Supports Breast Cancer Awareness With 'Pink Cork for the Cause'

WHITE PLAINS, NY--(Marketwired - September 01, 2015) - Mionetto launches 'Pink Cork for the Cause', a national program in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. The program, the first of an ongoing marketing initiative, is launching September 1st and running through October 31, 2015.

Participants will have a chance to win a pink 5-speed hand mixer by finding a pink cork in promotional bottles of Mionetto Prestige Brut or Mionetto Prestige Gran Rosé, or by entering an online sweepstakes where applicable. There will be 128 of these prizes available across the United States.

All winners will be automatically entered into random drawings where four grand prizes will be awarded. For each grand prize winner, Mionetto will make a $10,000 donation on their behalf to a breast cancer charity of their choice.

The Mionetto 'Pink Cork for the Cause' program is Mionetto's way of giving back to its extended family and loyal customers. "One in every eight women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Many of our loyal consumers, who we consider our family, struggle with this disease. Our 'Pink Cork for the Cause' campaign is simply our effort to help put an end to a disease that affects the lives of our families across the US," said Enore Ceola, Managing Director and CEO of Mionetto USA. "Mionetto began with love, passion and tradition by master winemaker Francesco Mionetto, the forefather of the family. These fundamental values have been in place since its inception in 1887 and with each new generation, these values have continued to be our building blocks. Here at Mionetto, we understand the importance of family. The Mionetto family extends into our winery, the importers, distributors, trade channels and most importantly to the consumers who support our brand. Thanks to the love and passion shared by our families, Mionetto is the most loved Prosecco in the US according to Impact Databank."

Official rules are available at www.facebook.com/MionettoProseccoUSA including complete details and how to participate without purchase.
