Missing Children Society of Canada: Ground Search for Jeffrey Surtel to Continue This Weekend

Local family seeks answers for son who disappeared over 2 years ago

- The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC), together with the family of Jeffrey Stuart Surtel, will be conducting a ground search for the local missing teen this Sunday.

- Ground crews will cover several wooded areas in the Mission region. The Canadian Search Dog Association from Edmonton will also be taking part in the search. The handlers and dogs are RCMP certified in cadaver searches.

- The family of Jeffrey Surtel hopes this weekend's search will bring some answers, and some closure, to the heartache for their son who has been missing since April 29th, 2007.

- MCSC would like to acknowledge Westminster Savings Foundation for their generous contribution towards this search and other investigations in the lower mainland region.
