Mission Ready Creates Electrical Shock Cover for Riot Shields to Increase Safety of Law Enforcement and US Military Personnel

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 30, 2015) - Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MRS) - Mission Ready Services Inc. ("Mission Ready") is pleased to announce the development of an electric shock sleeve for riot shields that utilizes Mission Ready's patented No-Contact technology. The sleeve was developed to fit various types of ballistic or polycarbonate riot shields that are used by law enforcement, and military.

With the 100% owned and patented No-Contact technology incorporated into the riot shield covers, attackers are unable to grab or hold the shields, greatly increasing the safety and protection of law enforcement and military personnel.

Based on feedback from the US Army Special Operations community, Mission Ready has developed a universal solution to fit ballistic or polycarbonate riot shields known as the No-Contact Modular Shield Cover. The riot shield cover greatly reduces the risk of an attacker grabbing or forcefully evading a police officer in a crowd control or riot situation through the delivery of a non-lethal but highly deterring electrical discharge, protecting the law enforcement officer or military personnel.

After demonstrating at the 2015 Las Vegas Shot Show®, the shield cover has been requested by numerous US, International Military and law enforcement agencies including correctional facilities and riot control forces for testing and evaluation. In addition, following the Company's most recent demonstrations of the shield cover to the Colombian National Police Riot Control Unit, initial user evaluations in Colombia are slated for July 2015.

"Riot shields are used in almost every country with a standardized police force. The modular design, which allows the shield cover to be retrofitted to any shield, regardless of type or size, is a tremendously efficient and cost-saving feature for the end-user. This product greatly enhances the safety of our law enforcement officers who risk their lives, such as the forces that worked to protect the citizens of the unfortunate recent riots in New York and Ferguson in 2014 and current events in Baltimore. This is a world-wide market and, with our patents and partners in the program, Mission Ready is well positioned to gain first-mover advantage to be the leader in this revolutionary technology," states Francisco Martinez, Chief Technology Officer of Mission Ready.
