Mississauga Dental Practice Staff Is Now CPR-Certified

MISSISSAUGA, ON--(Marketwired - Jun 10, 2015) - Square One Dental of Mississauga is pleased to announce that their office has earned CPR certification to take extra safety measures and better protect patients in emergency situations.

CPR, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, has the potential to save lives and is an important intervention for people who experience sudden breathing emergencies or cardiac arrest. The entire staff at Square One Dental, located in Mississauga, has underdone training on how to perform CPR and establish greater safety for all patients who visit their office, should an emergency occur.

CPR training teaches participants how to use AEDs (automated external defibrillators) and provide first-aid in cases of emergency where individuals have collapsed and are having trouble breathing. Achieving certification in CPR includes taking a course to learn the skill required for first intervention, including full and hands-only CPR.

The entire dental team at Square One Dental has completed CPR training and is certified to respond in emergency cardiac arrests situations. In addition, every year they will renew their certification.

The CPR training is just another way to sustain a safe environment for everyone, the practice said. This training will ensure that if a patient is in need of CPR, he or she will be able to get the necessary help immediately.
