Mississauga Transit Service Update: Regular Weekday and Weekend Service April 26-27

City of Mississauga Leading Today For Tomorrow

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 26, 2008) - Mississauga Transit will continue providing regular weekday and weekend service during the TTC strike.

At the Islington Subway and Long Branch loop, where Mississauga Transit services intersect with TTC services, stop locations will be provided on street, close to these locations.

Mississauga Transit will continue to provide direct, "train-meet" neighbourhood shuttle service to and from the Cooksville, Lisgar and Meadowvale GO stations. Travellers can use Mississauga Transit to reach any other GO Station in Mississauga and pay a reduced fare of 60 cents with a valid GO Rail ticket or pass.

Travellers on Mississauga Transit service into Toronto may experience extended travel times if more vehicles travel on area roads during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

Travellers can find customized Mississauga Transit route and schedule information by:

- Visiting www.mississaugatransit.com and using Click 'n Ride, the online trip planner;

- Calling the automated CityLink schedule system at 905-615-4287 and enter a four-digit bus stop number for the scheduled bus arrival times;

- Calling 905-615-INFO (4636) for customer information.
