Mitchell International to Showcase Workers' Compensation Cost Containment Strategies at 2012 Customer Advisory Council

Forum Taps Industry Influencers to Discuss Real-World Solutions for Increasing Cost Savings, Improving Patient Outcomes and Streamlining Claims Management

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 8, 2012) - Mitchell International's Workers' Compensation Solutions division today announced its bi-annual Customer Advisory Council (CAC) will be held on November 9, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. November's CAC will feature a new interactive format, drawing on the rich experience and expertise of the council's membership. Members will present five customer case studies, enabling attendees, which include claims executives from leading insurers, third-party administrators and state funds, to share their own experiences and learn from scenarios their peers have encountered.

Influencers in the property and casualty industry will drive the educational content. The case studies will be moderated by Nina Smith-Garmon, senior vice president and general manager of the Mitchell Workers' Compensation Solutions Division, and will focus on key issues facing the market. These include:

  • Managing bill review operations
  • Driving enhanced savings solutions
  • Determining the right business model and services when outsourcing
  • Leveraging data analytics to drive decisions
  • Optimizing managed care outcomes

"Our bi-annual CAC meetings allow Mitchell to tap directly into the issues and needs of insurance payers, enabling us to improve on the services we offer while providing our customers with rare access to a community of highly-regarded associates," said Smith-Garmon. "We're excited to launch our event's new format, aimed at promoting interaction, ensuring hands-on learning and giving attendees direct insight into cost containment strategies and solutions."
