MMRGlobal Home Health and Senior Care Programs to Be Showcased at Visiting Nurse Associations of America's Annual Meeting

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2012) - MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) and (OTCBB: MMRFE) ("MMR"), a leading provider of Personal Health Records (PHRs), MyEsafeDepositBox storage solutions and electronic document management and imaging systems for healthcare professionals, today announced it will be attending the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) 30th Annual Meeting taking place May 2-4 in Phoenix, AZ (www.vnaa.org). The VNAA represents over 90,000 clinicians who serve over four million patients annually. Selling personal health records through visiting nurses is consistent with the VNAA mission to support, promote and advance nonprofit providers of home and community-based healthcare, hospice and health promotion services ensuring quality care for their communities. Visiting nurses can receive revenue on every PHR deployed including annual residuals for each year an account is active. Deployment of 100 patient accounts per year could generate as much as $9,000 per year in residual income to an average visiting nurse plus additional revenue to an agency. Clinicians should be able to begin offering MMR's Prepaid Personal Health Record cards to patients starting in mid-May, which MMR believes can generate revenue opportunities for Q2.

The announcement comes the same week the Company announced agreements with VIDA Senior Resource, Inc. (http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=178404&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1681008&highlight=) to sell its patented personal health record products and services to more than 50,000 patients of VIDA Senior Resource, Assisted Transition and Senior Helpers. MMR and VIDA will begin nationwide sales and training next week. VIDA is a family owned and operated community resource organization headquartered in Boise, Idaho which provides senior home care services nationwide through a network of certified owned and operated agencies.

The VIDA agreement came as a result of MMR's introduction of its Prepaid Personal Health Record card at the Consumer Electronics Show in January this year. VIDA will use the Prepaid Personal Health Record cards to securely set up PHR services from clients' homes. VIDA has more than 6,000 non-medical, visiting Senior Helpers who will offer a private branded version of the Company's Prepaid Personal Health Record card (http://www.mmrglobal.com/vida) to more than 35,000 patients in their homes.

According to Bob Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal, "We are excited about the opportunity to offer personal health records through visiting nurses and through non-medical home health providers. For the first time, we will see a PHR activated and maintained as part of the regular job description of an in-home nurse or caregiver at no additional cost. The program also includes MMR providing a fax machine in patients' homes, where needed, as part of a premium priced per year service offering."

VIDA will also offer the Company's PHR services to as many as 10,000 Senior Resource clients and approximately 10,000 Assisted Transition clients. MMR's Personal Health Record is designed to ensure communication among all parties in the senior care loop by sending a copy of any record added to an account to the patient's family members and physicians as updates are made. The system will also manage scheduling of appointments and prescription reminders while warning against potentially dangerous drug interactions."

The Company plans on offering programs to dovetail with VNAA's "VNAA Quality Initiative" launched to help members ensure accountability for performance by remaining leaders in improving the experience of care, improving the health of populations, and reducing per capita costs of healthcare. By placing a PHR in the hands of patients, the clinician is able to deliver safer more effective care and quickly, easily and securely share information with providers and family members.

The MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record helps the entire family track their health, maintain their medical records, and manage all their important life documents for secure, easy access from any Internet-connected device to help coordinate care in the clinical and home setting and to make immediately available potentially life-saving information in the event of an emergency or other natural disaster. Every MMR Personal Health Record account will also be usable by up to 9 additional family members, and can also maintain veterinarian records for the family's pets. This enables family members to be involved in the primary patient's care while they can also utilize the service to have greater control over their own health.

An estimated 7.5 million individuals receive home care from 17,000 providers because of acute illness, long-term health conditions, permanent disability and terminal illness. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that number is expected to double by 2020, which is indicative of why home care and the home healthcare industry is expected to grow by more than 40% in the next five years and with it the need for technology tools like personal health records to better coordinate care.
