Mobile at Lake Abitibi

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2012) - Solid Gold Resources Corp. ("Solid Gold") (TSX VENTURE:SLD) reports that the January 3, 2012 court order obtained by Wahgoshig First Nation (WFN) has expired and we have called on Ontario to declare that it has met its duty to consult the Wahgoshig people.

"The Company has recently conducted reconnaissance on the property and is now mobilized to further drill-test the regional geology," stated Darryl Stretch, president of the Company.

We note that while the Company was restricted from operating in the area, the WFN used information obtained from Solid Gold during the consultation process to stake mineral claims over an area approximately 6 km long and 500 meters wide, bordering the Solid Gold Property.
