MobileHelp(R) Healthcare's SVP Chris Otto to Speak at Connected Health Summit: Engaging Customers

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwired - August 31, 2017) - MobileHelp®, a leader in mobile Personal Emergency Response Systems (mPERS) and health management solutions, announced today that Chris A. Otto, the SVP of its Healthcare division, is presenting at the Parks Associates' fourth annual Connected Health Summit: Engaging Consumers, August 29-31 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, Calif.

Held on Thursday, August 31st, at 1:15 p.m., Mr. Otto will participate in the session titled "IoT Integration: Partnering to Build the Best Healthcare Platforms."

The interactive panel session, moderated by Jennifer Kent, Ph.D., Director, Research Quality & Product Development at Parks Associates, will explore best practices to engage digital health solution partners -- and the success factors involved in making such partnerships work.

According to Parks Associates research, 14% of U.S. broadband households report being "very interested" in remote monitoring solutions. To that end, Mr. Otto will share how companies in the consumer-facing health IT space are introducing technology solutions to help healthcare providers as they attempt to bridge gaps in the care continuum and deliver better quality care at a lower cost.

"The healthcare system has demonstrated time and again that utilization of telehealth technology is a critical component for keeping people healthy and out of the hospital in the long-term," said Mr. Otto. "I look forward to sharing how industry solutions now give providers and patients the ability to connect and monitor critical aspects of health - outside the hospital setting."

"Continued innovations in connected health devices, apps, and services are leading to strong forecasted growth for the industry," said Elizabeth Parks, SVP, of Parks Associates. "We welcome MobileHelp to provide their perspective on how to best engage consumers in new connected health solutions, including ways to increase consumer satisfaction, enhance care quality, and reduce costs."
