Mobiquity Appoints Paul Piebinga General Manager, European Operations

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Nov 3, 2014) - Mobiquity, a mobile engagement provider creating innovative solutions that drive business value, has appointed Paul Piebinga as general manager - Europe.

In this new position, Piebinga is responsible for continuing to grow Mobiquity's European footprint, in response to increasing global demand for its enterprise-mobile solutions. Based on the significant growth opportunity in Europe, Mobiquity will continue the rapid expansion of its European business and team.

Piebinga will also oversee the company's thriving Netherlands operations. Mobiquity chose Amsterdam as the base for its European headquarters because of its central-European location and reputation as a global center for high-tech companies. Mobiquity Netherlands has three offices -- Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague -- with more than 60 employees and 20 brand-name clients across media and retail including Ziggo, DTG, Superdirect and KPN.

Piebinga brings a strong background in technology services and consulting (with senior positions at EDS, an information-technology services company, and Cambridge Technology Partners). Most recently he was CIO of Enexis B.V. where, during his tenure, he saw the potential and transformational impact of mobile, which led him to Mobiquity.

"Amsterdam has proven an ideal location for our European 'land-and-expand' strategy, delivering rapid growth over the past 12 months," said Bill Seibel, CEO, Mobiquity. "Paul brings the expertise, CIO perspective and passion for mobile needed to expand further into Europe and grow our business."

"I'm excited to be part of the Mobiquity team," said Piebinga. "I have seen firsthand the transformational power a well-planned mobile initiative has on businesses and people's lives. I look forward to leading the European team in this expansion effort."
