MOD Pizza Strengthens Leadership With Key Appointments


SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - Feb 16, 2016) -  MOD Pizza, the pioneer of fast casual pizza, today announced it has added three key leadership positions to support the company's rapid national and international expansion. Joining MOD is Carole McCluskey, Chief Technology Officer, Kevin Flaherty, Vice President of Marketing, and Lisa Luebeck, General Counsel and Vice President Legal.

Carole McCluskey, Chief Technology Officer - Bringing extensive experience as a leader and innovator, Carole will drive and manage MOD's technical and digital initiatives. She was most recently Chief Technology Officer at Outerwall, Inc. where she oversaw product development and corporate IT while driving technical strategy and execution for Redbox, Coinstar, New Ventures and the corporate innovation lab. Known for her ability to scale technology and deliver high impact initiatives, she was recognized by the PSBJ as "Outstanding CTO of a company of $1B" and also awarded the Illinois Technology Association's "Prominent Woman in Technology" Award.

Kevin Flaherty, Vice President of Marketing - Kevin brings his expertise in building and developing marketing teams that elevate brands in competitive consumer environments. Leading the overall marketing strategy for MOD, Kevin will oversee national brand marketing, creative development, consumer insights, customer loyalty and media relations. With a strong background in digital marketing, Kevin was co-founder of Wetpaint and comes to MOD from his most recent post as CMO of Whitepages.

Lisa Luebeck, General Counsel, Vice President of Legal - Lisa joins the leadership team as MOD's first general counsel. She has broad legal experience with a focus in key corporate, operational, securities and transaction areas including complex contract drafting and negotiations, public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions/alliances. Lisa's prior posts include Senior Associate with the global law firm Dorsey & Whitney, where she represented start-up and established clients in a diverse range of industries, and Senior Director of Legal with CTI BioPharma Corp., a public biotechnology company. Lisa was named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers.
