Modern Bakery Moscow 2014: Fantastic Level of Involvement at the German Community Stand

This is shown by the fantastic involvement at the German community stand at the 20th Modern Bakery Moscow fair from 23 - 26 April 2014. Russian Market for bakery and confectionery products
Russia continues to be an emerging market with great potential. This includes the bakery and confectionery market. The annual sale of bakery products rose by 15.1% between 2011 and 2012 alone, to 11 billion euros. In addition, many production plants in Russia are still not using the latest technology. Subsidy programmes and government support are expected to close this gap by 2020. The Russian government is supporting projects and investment in this area with a further 2.5 billion euros. German companies are benefiting from this development and are able to unlock entirely new markets in Russia as well as develop their business model.

German community stand at Modern Bakery Moscow 2014
The German community stand is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology at the request of the German Engineering Association (VDMA). This is the ninth time that there has been a German community stand at the fair and it is very much welcomed by German exhibitors.
