Molecular Biometrics to Provide Update on Its Metabolomics Platform and Lead Product for Non-Invasive Embryo Viability Testing in IVF

…At Red Herring's Montreal Technology Conference

CHESTER, NJ and MONTREAL--(Marketwire - September 5, 2007) - Molecular Biometrics, LLC, a privately held metabolomics company, today announced that James Posillico, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer, will deliver a corporate presentation at the Red Herring Canada 2007 Conference in Montreal on September 6, 2007.

Dr. Posillico will discuss the Company's metabolomic technology platform, recent human clinical data from trials in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo selection, as well as the Company's business and regulatory strategy.

Dr. Posillico commented on the Company's overall business strategy, "Molecular Biometrics plans to offer IVF practitioners a rapid, non-invasive method for assessing the reproductive potential of embryos that overcomes limitations associated with the current clinical practice of morphological examination." The current practice of morphology is a subjective process that is often inaccurate as an embryo may look perfect, but fails to implant in the uterine lining.

During his conference presentation, Dr. Posillico will review results from three clinical studies that investigated the use of ViaTest™-E, the Company's non-invasive platform. The studies illustrated the accuracy and reproducibility of the Company's non-invasive metabolomic methodology.

In addition, Dr. Posillico will discuss Molecular Biometrics' business and regulatory strategies. Dr. Posillico said, "We are looking to enter the international market, including Japan and Australia, in the beginning of 2008 and will continue our path to pursue U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of ViaTest™-E."
