MOLSON Is a "DAWG's" Best Friend

Brewer donates $25,000 to Town of Okotoks

OKOTOKS, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 26, 2008) - Canada's oldest brewer today donated $25,000 to the Town of Okotoks towards the construction of a new Field House at Seaman Stadium, helping to support active lifestyles in Southern Alberta.

Molson donated the funds during the Okotoks Dawgs home game June 26th. The event was held at Seaman Stadium in Okotoks, where Mayor Bill McAlpine threw out the first pitch.

"Molson is more than just Canada's oldest brewer - we are a community builder," said Molson's local sales rep Moe Lambert. "There is no better way for Molson to help build community spirit than to help support a facility that promotes active lifestyles."

Molson is a true fan and proud sponsor of sports across Canada, including the NHL's Calgary Flames and the CFL's Calgary Stampeders.

"Being a community builder means more than just sponsoring the big leagues," said Molson's Sales Manager for Southern Alberta, Chuck Wittmann. "It also means being part of the heart and soul in every town where Molson and its employees live, work and play - and we're proud to play our part here in Okotoks."

"Hours of enjoyment await baseball and recreation enthusiasts from the Town of Okotoks and surrounding area thanks to this generous donation from Molson," said Mayor McAlpine "It is fitting that this announcement comes on the eve of Canada Day because, not only is Molson a model corporate citizen but as one of Canada's oldest companies, it has a long history of community involvement and investment."
