Moly Mines Announces Environmental Approval for Spinifex Ridge

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 8, 2008) -

Moly Mines Limited, (TSX:MOL)(ASX:MOL) is pleased to announce the Western Australian Environment Minister has decided that the Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum/Copper Project can proceed.

The decision confirms the recommendation of the state Environmental Protection Authority that the Project proceed, subject to environmental management conditions.

The management conditions are currently being finalized.

State environmental approval is the last major regulatory hurdle in the development of the Spinifex Ridge project.

The approval will lead to the acceleration of financing for the project.
