Momsense, Inc. to Exhibit at 2016 ABC Kids Expo

The Company's New Application Features to Be Announced at the Las Vegas Trade Show

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - September 29, 2016) - Momsense, Inc., a technology-based start-up dedicated to supporting breastfeeding mothers, will exhibit at the 2016 ABC Kids Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Oct. 18-23, 2016. The company plans to announce the new features that are being added to its application for The Smart Breastfeeding Meter, a groundbreaking wearable device designed to measure the volume of breast milk consumed during nursing and provide a detailed summary report of babies' feeding patterns.

Momsense is among approximately 1,000 exhibitors participating in this year's trade show and will be located at booth #720. At the booth, attendees can expect to see a variety of "how-to" videos, giveaway opportunities, and a chance to listen to the swallowing sounds of infants as they consume breast milk, which is what was used create and patent the company's technology. The booth will also feature a Momsense Breastfeeding Station with a breastfeeding chair, allowing breastfeeding mothers at the event to try The Smart Breastfeeding Meter themselves.

The Smart Breastfeeding Meter has three components: the Momsense app, earphones and a microphone embedded baby safe sensor. Featuring patented technology, Momsense not only tracks baby's breast milk intake while storing each session's data, but also allows mothers to listen to the sound of their baby's nursing swallows -- greatly enhancing the bonding experience. The app captures babies' swallowing sounds in an album and also track feeding patterns over time, allowing mothers to cultivate and trust their intuition.

At the event, Momsense will present the new features being added to its application:

  • Moms can now use Momsense to record which breast they last left off at, and the app will remind mom which breast to begin with when they start their next session.
  • Moms can program nursing alarms, as reminders of when to nurse if they are on a strict schedule.
  • Moms can add or delete nursing sessions manually to the timeline page.
  • Moms can login to email and social media accounts while using Momsense to share pictures and vocal albums.
  • Momsense now offers exclusive deals and coupons to users, giving moms more value every day.

These features are being added to the list of Momsense's current features, including:

  • Tracking breastfeeding over time (also suitable for twins).
  • Listening to the sound of baby swallowing, from the very first swallow (using uniquely designed earphones).
  • Identifying every swallow of milk that baby consumes (using the Momsense app).
  • Measuring and recording the amount of milk that baby drinks at the end of every session.
  • Enhancing women's maternal intuition, gain confidence, and have peace of mind.

"Our goal at Momsense is to give mothers the tools and confidence they need to continue breastfeeding through baby's first 6 months of life," said Dr. Osnat Emanuel, CEO of Momsense. "Breastfeeding provides so many emotional and physical benefits for both moms and babies, and we think every mom should be able to enjoy these moments, worry-free."

The 2016 ABC Kids Expo will take place on Oct. 18-21, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is hosted by the All Baby & Child, Corp. (ABC), whose primary objective and purpose is to act as a business league that helps organize and produce trade shows, as well as educational conferences. With 3,300 booths, the event allows juvenile products manufacturers, industry retailers, trade media, and distributors to get a first look at new products and innovations entering the market. Since 2003, ABC and its exhibitor partners have contributed millions of dollars in funding and in-kind product donations to charities that work for the health and welfare of children.

Since launching in March 2016, Momsense has earned the 2016 "Family Choice Awards", the National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval, the 2016 Gold "Mom's Choice Award", and the 2016 "Top Choice of the Year" award by Baby Maternity Magazine.
