Mondo Reports CIO/CTOs Saw Biggest IT Salary Increase From 2014 to 2015

Salaries for CIOs/CTO Top List at $250,000 and Chief Security Officers at $214,000

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 16, 2015) - Mondo (www.mondo.com) today reported that CIOs/CTOs top the list of highest paid technology professionals in 2015 ($170,00 - $250,000) -- a nine percent increase from their salaries in 2014 -- according to the findings of its annual technology salary guide. Mondo is a leading technology and digital resourcing provider.

According to Mondo's latest research, beyond the CIO/CTO position, the technology jobs with the highest salaries in 2015 include:

  • Chief Security Officer ($146,000 - $214,000)
  • Chief Data Officer ($143,000 - $200,000)
  • VP, Information Technology ($137,000 - $178,000)
  • VP, Engineering ($136,000 - $177,000)
  • Director, PMO ($123,000 - $177,000) 
  • Scala Developer ($115,000 - $177,000)

Other top-salaried positions include:

  • Application Architect ($131,00 - $175,000)
  • iOS Developer ($133,000 - $174,000)
  • VP, Infrastructure ($134,000 - $173,000)
  • Android Developer ($131,000 - $173,000)
  • UI/UX Designer ($110,000 - $172,000)
  • BI Developer ($130,000 - $171,000)
  • IS Security Manager ($130,000 - $169,000)

(Note: The salary ranges reflect regional differences in salaries, with NYC/San Francisco on the high end and Florida/Dallas on the low end.)

Mondo also reported that the technology skills/positions in biggest demand are:
