SAN CLEMENTE, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 3, 2014) - Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB: APPZ) is pleased today to announce today its rollout of expanded customized print and design services with the latest commercial equipment from Sharp USA. In addition, Monster Arts is now making available its experienced graphic designers and illustrators, who have, to date, designed more than 10,000 unique Smartphone apps, logos, and digital & print media elements for itself, its clients, and partners.
In addition to rolling out new design and printing services to new clients, Monster Arts plans to offer discounted services to its members to the 4000+ small to mid-sized cross-country business members of Travel America Visitor Guide (TAVG) and other new corporate and business partners. The new print services will be sold and provided under the TAVG umbrella and access to online quotes will be available from the member's admin login for managing their accounts on www.travelamericavisitorguide.com as well as from the main page of www.monsterarts.net.
Despite recent trends of slowing or declining growth, printing remains big business for thousands of industry players across the US and globally. In 2012, the size of the printing market in the US in terms of revenues and profits was $76.6 billion and $3.1 billion, respectively, and included such product and service categories as book printing, digital printing, business cards and logos, commercial screen printing, and blank book, loose-leaf binders and devices manufacturing, among others. Key success factors for competitors in this industry include marketing expertise, access to highly skilled workers, attractive product presentation, local market dominance and the ability to adopt new technologies. See Ibis World Industry Report 32311, "Printing in the US", Aug. 2012, by Caitlin Moldvay.
Some important, recently developing growth trends within the industry that seem particularly relevant to the small (10 to 99 employees) and micro (1 to 9 employees) sized business customer are increasing page volumes/printer usage per PC in use and the advent of greater printing from handheld or mobile devices. See The Photizo Report, "The Changing Role of Printing in Small and Medium-Size Businesses in the U.S.", by Larry Jamieson, October 1, 2012. Keeping this in mind and within this business climate, Monster Arts sees a wealth of opportunity.
"Our first commercial printing client, a prestigious home builder in Ankeny, Iowa was able to get double the printing, including our impeccable graphic designs, at the same price as their local printer in the area," commented Wayne Irving, Monster Arts CEO. "The fact remains, irrespective of technology advancements and improvements in the ways information is disseminated, printing as a business is simply not going away, and with TAVG's established customer base and our ability to offer significant price breaks to businesses all across the US while still turning a profit, we are extremely excited about this expanded new service offering."
Currently, Monster Arts is already brokering and providing small printing services to a small group of clients. With the addition of the new high volume, commercial level printing machinery being acquired from Sharp USA, Monster Arts believes this development, combined with the company's existing TAVG client list including thousands of members and its extensive business contacts and brokering relationships -- both within the US and internationally -- will enable it to effectively compete with even some of the largest players in the printing services industry and sets the stage for exciting revenue and profit growth during 2014.
Irving continues, "Print media goes hand in hand with any level of an impactful marketing campaign and related consulting services. Now that we can provide more `bang for the buck' for our existing customer and membership base, I see a bright future and positive direction for our company on the horizon."
Monster Arts will now offer the following custom printing and design services to its clients:
- Business Cards
- Post Cards
- Stickers & Labels
- Books, Booklets & Catalogs
- Logos & Company Presentations
