Monster Sponsors Talent Board's 2014 Candidate Experience Awards

Fourth Consecutive Year of Monster Providing Support of Recruiting Awards and Benchmarking Program

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 8, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that Monster, the global leader in successfully connecting job opportunities and people, will be a Global Platinum Sponsor of the 2014 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards.

Monster has consistently demonstrated its support of the CandE Awards since the program launched in 2010 to promote the importance of providing an outstanding candidate experience. The annual competition enables employers to gain insight and feedback on their candidate experience, as well as to benchmark their experience against that of other companies. The award provides a unique opportunity to recognize the employers who are upholding a high standard in their engagement and treatment of job candidates.

"As an industry pioneer, Monster has enabled improvements in the candidate experience by providing the sophisticated technology, education and services that employers need to connect with the right talent," said Eric Winegardner, Vice President of Client Adoption, Monster. "We have been a proud sponsor of the CandE Awards since their inception, and look forward to continuing to help Talent Board acknowledge the employers who are setting and raising the bar for the candidate experience."

"We believe whole-heartedly that candidates deserve to feel respected and valued in the talent acquisition process, and that many organizations believe the same. The CandE Awards not only give employers the opportunity to take stock of where they stand with their corporate hiring strategies, but also create awareness around the strategies that are working," said Gerry Crispin, Talent Board co-founder and principal and co-founder of CareerXroads. "We are grateful to our repeat sponsors like Monster, who help support the backbone of the CandE Awards and evangelize our reasons for establishing them."

Winners of the 2014 CandE Awards will be announced during the Fourth Annual Candidate Experience Awards Reception, which will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. This year's event also will include the first Candidate Experience Symposium, held on Friday, September 19, 2014, also at the Hyatt Regency. The Symposium will gather together renowned talent leaders to share innovative practices and strategies that can enhance recruiting and improve the candidate experience.
