Montalvo Spirits Appoints Industry Expert to Head Marketing Efforts

MOORPARK, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 17, 2014) - Montalvo Spirits Inc. (OTCQB: TQLA) ("Montalvo" or, the "Company"), producers of award-winning brand Montalvo Tequila, announced today that it has appointed John (Jack) V.O. Kennard to the position of Senior Strategic Advisor. Mr. Kennard, who was previously Senior Vice President at Brown-Forman Corp., will advise in the marketing of Montalvo Tequila as the Company continues its launch and roll-out in the United States.

Mr. Kennard capped a twenty-seven year career as Senior Vice President at Brown-Forman Corporation, with responsibility for global marketing services for all B-F brands in domestic and international markets. Prior thereto, from 1996-2001, he was the Senior Marketing Executive with P&L responsibility for the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey family of brands, a $2.0+ Billion business.
