Montoro Receives Ontario Geologicial Survey Report on Its Serpent River Property in Elliot Lake, Ontario

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 16, 2010) - International Montoro Resources Inc. ("IMT") (TSX VENTURE:IMT)(PINK SHEETS:IMTFF)(FRANKFURT:O4T) has reviewed a 2009 summary of field work published by the Ontario Geological Survey ("OGS") on and around its 1,840 ha Serpent River Property located approx. 13 km. east of the town of Elliot Lake, Ontario. The "Open File Report #6240 – Project Unit 09-004 Compilation Mapping, Pecors-Whiskey Lake Area, Southern and Superior Provinces" by R.M. Easton (pages 10-1 to 10-21 inclusive) shines additional light on a strong geophysical anomaly on our Serpent River Property located in Joubin and Gaiashk townships, Ontario.

The area was selected for mapping by the OGS because of renewed uranium exploration in the area and because previous published mapping of Proterozoic rocks in the area, dates mainly from the late 1950s and early 1960s. The OGS comments specifically on a large airborne magnetic anomaly outlined by a Geotech VTEM–electromagnetic survey conducted by Int. Montoro, Pele Mtn. & Verbina in 2008 and acquired by the OGS in 2009. A large portion of this magnetic anomaly is contained within Montoro's Serpent claims and is coincident with a regional gravity high. Previously it was thought that these anomalies were caused by iron formation. However; in this recent study the OGS came to the conclusion that the magnetic anomaly is likely caused by a Paleoproterozoic mafic intrusion.

In 1959 Algom Uranium Mines Ltd. drilled two holes (PW-121 and PW-122) along the south and southeastern edge of the magnetic and gravity anomaly, that penetrated the Huronian sediments and encountered underlying basement rocks at depths of 2001 feet (610 metres) and 1640 feet (500 metres) respectively. The basement rocks were identified as diabase textured greenstone that contained disseminated pyrrhotite, pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization (no assays recorded). This suggests that the interpretation of the OGS as to the source of the anomalies, may be correct and that these lithologies may have potential to host contact style Ni – Cu - PGE mineralization.

Don Hawke, P.Geo. remarks, "this is a very exciting target, and in my experience most anomalies of this nature in the Elliot Lake – Sudbury district will most likely be subject to follow-up exploration to determine their source and assess their economic potential."

This press release has been reviewed and approved by Don Hawke, M.Sc., P.Geo., consulting geologist and a qualified person as defined in NI 43-101.
