Montreal-Trudeau Airport: Tips for Travellers During the Holiday Period

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 16, 2011) - Montréal-Trudeau airport expects to welcome many travellers during the Holiday Season. Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) would like to take this opportunity to provide some helpful travel advice and to announce that, from December 21 to 24, seasonal carols and music will enhance the Holiday atmosphere in the terminal during peak periods of the day.

In order for passengers to avoid wasting time waiting at the airport, ADM recommends that they check the status of their flight before arriving at the airport, either by visiting the ADM website at www.admtl.com or by contacting their airline.

In addition, because there is currently major construction underway around the Dorval interchange, it is important to carefully watch for the road signs and to plan your travel by allowing sufficient time to reach the airport, particularly during bad weather.

Baggage preparation

In order to facilitate pre-boarding passenger screening procedures, ADM reminds travellers that wrapped gifts should be placed in their checked baggage. If this is not possible, we remind you that gifts placed the carry-on luggage must not be wrapped. For more information on items allowed in the aircraft cabin, visit www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca.
