MOON Adds CIO, Completes Agreement With MWI Veterinary Supply

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2011) - MOON is proud to announce the recent addition of Michael Joseph in the capacity of CIO. Head of his own consulting firm, Technium Consulting, Mr. Joseph brings a wealth of technical and project management experience to MOON.

Chief among Mr. Joseph's priorities will be managing the implementation of new MOON-wide initiatives in Information Technology, including the development and implementation of a virtual data center, a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other IT-based projects.

"We are proud to have Michael on board," said Brian Cassell, CEO of MOON. "He [Mr. Joseph] brings cutting-edge strategic IT insight, and has a strong background of combined technical management and business operational skills."

Prior to co-founding Technium in 1999, Mr. Joseph participated in lead positions in numerous technology startups. He managed engineering teams for communications equipment, storage, security and policy companies throughout the 1980s and '90s. He has consulted on core business practices including business continuity, data protection, and CIO level architecture. At Technium his focus has been in providing customized solutions and creative methodologies through automated tools and efficient processes to companies with limited staff who want to provide world-class service.

We are also proud to announce a unified Logistics Agreement between MOON member practices and MWI Veterinary Supply, for 2011. This partnership provides a strong blend of pricing and service for logistics and purchasing of drugs and medical supplies.
