MORGAN HILL, CA--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - Moore Performance Systems (MPS), the developer of the MCQ software, has partnered with Interface Masters Technologies, an industry leader and innovator in networking solutions, to provide a software and hardware platform addressing, UTM, Security Compliance, Business Analytics, Intrusion Detection & Prevention and WAN Acceleration markets. The MCQ Software suite is a framework to address the Distributed Processing Multicore and MultiQueue applications. The MCQ infrastructure is configurable, and provides Classification, Filtering, Queuing, QOS-Rate-Limiting, and Packet Processing Engine control. The MCQ software and the Niagara 710, PCI-e Network Adapter, will be demonstrated with Spirent TestCenter at Interop Las Vegas May 9th booth #659 running traffic at 10Gpbs rates.
The MPS MCQ Software Suite is initially targeted for Linux Hosts and Intelligent NIC solutions that are connected over PCIe. Future versions will expand to FreeBSD Hosts, and other Distributed Processing Platforms, such as ATCA. In addition the MCQ software will support Inline SSL Offload, Inline IPSEC Offload, Intelligent Real Time Network Analysis, and RegEx DPI solutions.

The Niagara 710 is based on Freescale Semiconductor's QorIQ® P4080 processor, which integrates eight e500 Power Architecture® cores, dual 10Gb fiber interfaces, up to 8GByte of DDR3 and PCI-e x8 in a full height half length PCI-Express form factor.

Availability
The basic version of the MPS MCQ Host Driver and Niagara 710 Firmware is provided with the Interface Masters Niagara 710 Hardware as a Freescale SDK extension. Premium supported versions will be offered by MPS, www.moore-performance.com by end of June 2011.
