More and More Older Professionals Moving Abroad

ABINGDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Jan. 24, 2012) - Brookfield Global Relocation Services, or Brookfield GRS, are a company who design and manage global relocations. Their recent survey has revealed that the age of professionals who are immigrating with international removals to other countries is on the rise.

Their 2011 Global Relocation Trends Survey Report on the ages of people who were moving abroad showed that 9% of the people were 20-29 years old, this figuring dropping from 13% in 2010. Another age group whose percentage fell was people aged 30-39. However, this wasn't a significant drop; it only dropped from 33% to 32%.

On the other hand, both the 40-49 and 50-59 age groups rose, from 35% to 37% and 16% to 19% respectively. The over 60s age bracket was the only category not to have changed at all, staying at 3%.

These results which you can find at BBC News are showing that more and more people who have either retired, or are near to retirement are the ones who are moving overseas which means that an international removals company will have been busy.

If you're a part of the 37% of 40-49 year olds or the 19% of the 50-59 year olds that are moving abroad then a removals company such as Robinsons may be able to help you in your relocation.

Whether you're planning on moving to Australia or America can help you along the way!
