Morneau Sobeco Income Fund Appoints New Chairman and New President

- William F. Morneau, Jr. appointed Chairman and CEO - Alan Torrie appointed President

The Board of Trustees of Morneau Sobeco Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:MSI.UN) announced today the appointment of William F. Morneau, Jr. as Chairman and CEO of the Fund. This appointment comes as William F. Morneau, Sr. retires as Chairman of the Fund. Mr. Morneau, Sr., the founder of the business of Morneau Sobeco, will continue as a member of the Fund's Board of Trustees, and serve as Honourary Chairman.

At the same time, the Fund announced the appointment of Alan Torrie as President of the Fund. Mr. Torrie has stepped down as a member of the Fund's Board of Trustees in order to accept this position. The resulting Board vacancy will be filled by the Board in the coming months. Alan brings a wealth of executive management experience to his new role. His previous leadership positions include Chief Operating Officer of Retirement Residences REIT, Executive Vice President of MDS Inc., President and Chief Executive Officer of MDS Diagnostics and Laboratories, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Joseph Brant Hospital.
