CONCORD, MA--(Marketwire - February 22, 2011) - Morrill Group, an independent insurance agency based in Norwood, Mass., has acquired Goldman Ernest & Liner Insurance Agency of Needham, Mass., North Bridge Advisors announced today. North Bridge represented Morrill Group, according to the firm's managing director, Jerry Vigneron.

Goldman, Ernest & Liner Insurance Agency Inc. will operate as a subsidiary of Morrill Insurance. Stephen Liner will become Vice President and head of commercial lines for the combined entities.
