MorrisAnderson Promotes Edward J. Bidanset to Managing Director

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - MorrisAnderson announced today that it has promoted Edward J. Bidanset, III, 58, to the position of managing director, effective immediately. In this role, Bidanset will help grow the Atlanta office and will manage client relationships and the office's finances.

Bidanset joined MorrisAnderson in 2008 as a consulting manager in its Atlanta office. He has more than 25 years of experience in turnarounds, crisis management and investment banking with a focus on the consumer products, retail, printing, plastics and metal industries. During his time with MorrisAnderson, Bidanset worked with a metal stamping company's management team to obtain union approval to consolidate job classifications. This approval came after two previous votes against the measure. Bidanset also led company-wide meetings to improve productivity, work rules and training.

"Since joining MorrisAnderson, Ed has seen success working with unions, stabilizing distressed companies and overseeing mergers and acquisitions," said Dan Dooley, CEO of MorrisAnderson. "We're excited to have Ed move into a new role where he will use his strengths to focus on managing client relationships and developing key strategic accounts."

Bidanset has nearly three decades of financial consulting and management experience. Prior to joining MorrisAnderson, Bidanset was a consultant and principal with CE Inc., a crisis and turnaround management firm. Before working as a consultant, Bidanset gained experience as chief financial officer for multiple companies including Middle Atlantic Products, Scott Printing Corp. and Cardiovascular Diagnostics. Bidanset also served as chief operating officer for Imtek/Holliday-Tyler Printing and marketer-controller at Exide Electronics.

Bidanset is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland and a master's degree in business administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
