Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd.: BA Project Drill Hole Data Confirmation

STEWART, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 19, 2010) - Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MTB) provides investors and shareholders with clarification regarding BA project assay results for drill holes DDH-2008-39 through DDH-2008-63, released by the Company in news releases on January 21, 2010 and March 18, 2010. The Company has been made aware that investors are under the impression that this drilling data and assay information had previously been reported. The information released on January 21st and March 18th, is for core drilled in 2008 but never logged, cut and assayed as a consequence of the severe downturn in market conditions in the fall of 2008. The core from 38 drill holes was stored in a secure facility until financing raised in the fall of 2009 enabled processing to begin. During the last four months, over 6,000 metres of core was processed by logging, geotechnical studies, cutting and assaying. At present, there are still 10 drill holes with assay results pending (last hole numbered as DDH-2008-76).

While this year's exploration program has yet to begin, weather conditions are such that the 2010 exploration season will have an early start. In addition, the Company was informed by the optionee of the BA property that this year's exploration budget, primarily drilling and geophysics, is set at $5,300,000.

E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration programs on behalf of the Company. Drill core samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC. The Company uses a program of blank and standard insertion with the core samples to provide quality control on the assaying.

Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. is a Canadian based mineral exploration company with diverse property and resource holdings around the Stewart region in British Columbia's golden triangle. It owns 30% of the Silver Coin project, a gold-silver-base metals project with a 43-101 defined 944,000 ounces gold in the measured and indicated category and 1,400,000 ounces in the inferred category. It also is exploring silver-base metals on its American Creek and Bear Valley properties as well as copper-gold in their Stewart area claims.
