Mountains of Opportunity Await Educators This Summer

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - June 04, 2015) - The Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) is pleased to announce it will be the partnering with College of the Rockies to offer a unique professional development course for educators this summer.

"Anyone who works with youth is invited expand their horizons by applying to attend this innovative program combining academics and adventure," said Wade Luzny, CEO Executive Vice President of the Canadian Wildlife Federation. "This is an incredible opportunity for personalized learning in the heart of the Rockies."

Highlights of the July 31-Aug. 9 course include nature hikes, orchard tours, wildlife viewing, First Nations wisdom, artisan talks around sustainability, cycling, culinary arts and much more. This is the seventh year CWF has hosted a summer institute for educators but the first time it's been offered in the southern interior of British Columbia.
