The Movie Game Inc.: Media Alert-The Leonardo Da Vinci of Toronto To Be Announced at CNE Monday During Da Vinci Quest Board Game Launch

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 5, 2005) -

Join us at the Ex as we reveal the results of a two-week poll to discover what Toronto personality people believe is the Leonardo Da Vinci of our times in Toronto. We'll also reveal what visitors to the Ex think about controversies in books such as The Da Vinci Code and find out who are the lucky winners of a week-long trip to Paris courtesy of Globus (www.globusjourneys.ca) plus advance screening tickets to The Da Vinci Code movie, courtesy of Sony Pictures.

Where: Inside the Traveling with Leonardo Exhibit
Hall A of the National Trade Center, CNE (Princes Gates)

When: Monday September 5, 2005
12:00 - 12:30 p.m.

What: After counting hundreds of ballots from a poll set up at
the Traveling with Leonardo exhibit at the CNE, we will
reveal what personality linked with Toronto has the spark
of genius, according to visitors to the Ex. The Da Vinci
of our times can be any inspiring personality connected
with our city - from Gordon Lightfoot to Ed Mirvish to
Frank Gehry to Moses Znaimer. We will also reveal the
results of an opinion poll on extremely controversial
issues in the press following Dan Brown's controversial
best-seller The Da Vinci Code, such as "Did geniuses such
as Leonardo belonged to secret societies?" and "Did Jesus
Christ and Mary Magdalene have children?"

Photo Opportunity: Sandy Cherry, inventor of The Da Vinci Quest board game, will draw names from a ballot drum to great fanfare to determine the winners of a trip to Paris, France and special screening of The Da Vinci Code movie, due out in May. The exhibit also features 45 3-D models of the master's greatest inventions.

The event marks the Toronto launch of the locally-invented Da Vinci Quest board game, a sell-out sensation across North America that takes players on a modern journey through ancient mysteries. Based on real legends from Da Vinci's life and mysteries throughout history, players are sent on a mission to the four corners of the earth to crack a mysterious codex by answering trivia questions and reach the grail.
