Moving-Housing: The Association of Quebec Landlords (APQ) Takes Care of Your Woes

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 27, 2014) - The moving period is a very stressful time for property owners. As we approach the 1st of July many property owners are worried and there is one question on their lips: In what state will I find my dwelling?

Some tenants are very good tenants and will even fill the holes in the walls but many tenants do not mind leaving the housing in a mess or untidy. "The owner will have to take care of it anyway."

Since Quebec property owners do not have the privilege offered by all other provinces to have a warranty deposit to raise awareness among tenants and reduce the many expenses and stress due to the negligence of the tenants, the Association of Quebec Landlords (APQ) has decided to help them and has set up a hotline: "The APQ takes care of your misfortunes."

The APQ takes care of your woes

From today, June 27 until July 2, inclusive, the APQ handles your questions and helps you in your initiatives to claim damages at the Régie du logement by telling you what to do:

  • What to do with waste left behind, with abandoned recycling boxes?
  • What to do with abandoned animals?
  • The tenant does not leave anymore.
  • The dwelling has been looted.
  • The tenant brings bugs with him.
  • The common portions are damaged.
And all means are good to reach us:
Phone: 888-382-9670
Email: info@apq.org
Tchat: directly on our website http://www.apq.org/

Our team of legal professionals is available to members and non-members during this period.

Throughout the weekend, the spokespersons of the APQ will be available to answer media questions at 888-382-9670.
