Mozilla's Mike Shaver to Speak at Leading Canadian Student-Run Technology Conference

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Jan 11, 2006) -

Mozilla Corp. today announced that its technology strategist, Mike Shaver, will speak at the Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference (CUTC) taking place in Markham, Toronto, Ontario from January 12 - 14, 2006. The conference brings together leading technology companies, entrepreneurs and the brightest students from all over Canada. The venue provides a forum for university students to meet and learn from experienced industry and academic professionals, as well as exchange ideas and opinions on the state and future of technology.

Mozilla's Mike Shaver, a frequent speaker at technology events, will explore the recent renaissance in Web technology and applications. He will also shed light on how Mozilla harnesses the power and expertise of a global developer community to develop, ship, and market one of the most popular open source products to-date, the Firefox Web browser, as well as related software.
